I think one problem might be that the Rams WRs are slow footed once you get past Kupp: Skowronek is slow; Robinson is slow. OBJ is injured; Jefferson is injured, and it doesn't look like Tutu is going to pan out.

Maybe Cooper Kupp is the only WR capable of consistently getting open on quick routes.

This puts a damper on McVay's philosophy of "chunk plays". No OBJ, no DeSean Jackson. Satfford is forced to hold teh ball longer, and then you see what happens.
