It's gonna be all about injuries

Looking over our squad we have tremendous starters loaded with superstars, ready to not only repeat, but could run the table. Stafford, Kupp, AD, Wagner, Floyd, Gay, Ramsey, even Havs could be the best in the NFL at their positions.
ARob is a former Pro Bowl #1 guy who is our #2 WR. We have some solid strong position players with decent NFL experience throughout our lines in Big ARob, GG, Allen, Edwards, Shelton. We have good experience and some depth along the DB. But, this is where I worry. Most of the rest of our "depth" comes from first and second year kids.
Kendrick and Durant? Exciting? Hope they don't play. McCutcheon? Love him. Please stay on the sidelines. Ancrum? Next year big fella.
I want to re-sign OBJ and add a vet RB along the way this year. I don't want to see any rookies get in the game. None. If this Williams trots onto the field this season it should be because Akers and Hendu are both hurt.
The CBs should only play if Ramsey, Hill, Long and Rochelle are all out. We are very thin. Not in talent, but NFL experience. That is why McVay abandoned his personal safety and dived into a scrum of fighting players. He could've lost a star player. He could've saved our season right there. And he knew it.
So, while it is really fun to worry about draft picks and UFAs and such don't. Worry that after each play your favorite players make it back to the huddle for the next play. Every play.
Our talent can't be challenged. We have the most by a lot. We also have excellent coaches so we won't be out-coached. Remember those 49er team when they had Montana, Rice, Roger Craig, Taylor and a bunch more stars? And a great HC in Walsh? We are there. The and they won 3 SBs. The biggest difference was back then there was no salary cap and they just bought everyone and went deep everywhere. We can't do it. We have late round and UFAs backing up our stars. So, instead of worrying about 1K yard rushers or whether Stafford can throw for 5K yards we need to just keep our focus on the field and the training room.
