Kyren Williams- MJD & D'Marco high on what they saw from him

Kyren Williams the rookie RB from Notre Dame.

Maurice Jones-Drew: "What he showed is what you saw on tape. That's where the scouting, that's where the coaching comes in. Does he look like he did at Notre Dame? He looked just like he did and maybe even a little bit better."

D'Marco: "Watching him carry the football on those zone runs. He is a great zone runner. He gets lost in traffic and then all of the sudden he is out the back door. He is pretty elusive. He is really good. Remember the damage that Matt Forte used to do. Remember if you recall all the way back the damage that Roger Craig could do. Same thing with this guy. He can kill you on the run. Scheme you to death and then a 1st and 10 turns into a 2nd and 4 because he just caught it in the flat and made a guy miss."

Maurice Jones-Drew: "It's exciting to have a third guy who you can count on. Who can come in and pick up blitzes and do all the things you need."

It sounded like Kyren Williams got a lot of work this week.
