He's retired but under contract. My premise was if he said to the Rams, "Hey, I'd like to come back and play for Dallas just to make some big bucks, then I'd trade him." But if he said, "Hey, I want to play again for the Rams, then yeah, we'd have to keep him. I agree with you, it would be a real bad look for the Rams to trade him if he only wanted to come back to play for the Rams." I think I was just imagining a funny scenario for the Rams.

Personally, I hope he does not come back just for his health's sake. Too many hits to the head isn't good. I was telling my wife today how great it was that he left on top of the game with a ring.
