We were at a Rams vs Detroit Lions game in December 1966. It was a balmy rain threatening Sunday and only 40,000 people spread out in that huge Coliseum. The Peanut Guy was having a field day! There were more fans following & cheering his antics than for the game. We had a bye the next week before our last game with the vaunted Packers. Couple that with the lowly Lions as an opponent, the Peanut Guy became a real ham with his sometimes 35 to 40 yard peanut tosses. He'd work his way around and fans passing his peanut money to him where ever he was. It was a real show!
