I'm guessing that it's a health issue involving one of his parents... perhaps his mother since she had breast cancer and myeloma a few years back. She finished cancer treatment in 2017. But cancer is a sneaky, relentless beast. I hope that's not the case, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was. This is just me thinking out loud.
