Just makes you appreciate the McVay/Snead combination. Remember it was Snead who was in charge of the coaching search. After Fisher, who was in charge, he knew how important it was to to get the HC right. Snead got the Rams to take a gamble on the youngest coach, by far, in NFL history. If McVay wasn't ready & didn't work out Snead gets fired.
Now McVay and Snead who are very different work together better than any GM/HC combination in the league. They are on the same page and each is great at their job but the continue to innovate an push the boundaries of accepted NFL thought. They build a roster that somehow has a bunch of great leaders up and down the roster. The develop their young guys not only as football players but as leaders too. And they are quick to recognize and fix their mistakes.
As fans we have been blessed.
