Why do people keep calling Henderson a "change of pace" running back? He is an all round rb as he has good hands and can pass block. He is nearly the identical size and speed as Akers who keeps being elevated as the "starting rb". If we had a power game with a FB and a bruising runner like Steven Jackson, Jerome Bettis, Larry Czonka, etc, and Hendu flashed in he would be a change of pace back. Mercury Morris was a change of pace back. He would be much faster than the starter. I also don't agree that KW is a power back. He is a twitchy blocking back with great hands. He won't be running it up the guy on fourth and inches. I don't see us with a power back. Both Akers and Hendu are good at breaking tackles, but they don't run over people.
We don't have an Earl Campbell on our depth chart. Or a John Riggins. Or even an Otis Anderson. We're not looking for four yards in a cloud of dust. We have fast guys who can catch and block.
