So other teams regularly checked down into the short area just behind Donald and that means the defense had a weakness? Or does it mean the offenses have been channeled into the most controllable part of the defense where all 11 still matter.

Keep checking it down the middle so your receivers get blasted and the pass dropping linemen and linebackers can jump the routes on occasion.

I'd say it's being touted as a weakness but I submit it's a general strategy
