Long has the inside track for the slot. Rochelle and the rookies are looking at providing depth at all 3 positions. Another thing is we play a lot of zone with our safeties picking up any deep throws so our outside CBs won't be running stride for stride with other team's top WRs. They'll cover for the first 10 yards and you don't need to very big or extremely fast, but rather it's more important to be quick and have fast reactions. I think Rochelle will get snaps. I think Scott and Fuller will be our starting safeties, but Rapp and Lake will see snaps. Burgess and the rookies? Not sure, but there will be competition in our secondary. Our only worry is we could get a youngster(s) poached of from our PS. We may have the depth to trade. Contracts are up after this year so the youth will be needed.
