I didn't try to imply that Akers has ongoing fumbling problems. I think at this point he is a totally unproven commodity. He flashed at times his rookie year as he should being a high second round pick at a position which usually doesn't need a lot of ramping up. Then, he has a complete tear of his Achilles. Somehow, he made it back on to the field. But, what was he then? In our SB passes went to Hendu and we couldn't run at all. Our last drive was all passes and that huge run by Kupp. Where was our star RB? He's working his tail off and that's really terrific, but how he does this coming season is a giant question mark. If he can come back to be solid. That would be great. To imagine him coming back to be an All Pro level, top 3 in the NFL level is baffling.
