And no disrespect to the guys who have retired (or are contemplating retirement), or have moved on to other teams, but...
IMO, you get stamped as "legit" when you're able to successfully defend your title.
You eliminate all nonsense related to:
- you ONLY won because Dyson couldn't get an extra yard
- you ONLY won because Tampa blew the coverage on the bomb to Kupp
- you ONLY won because that PI call near the goal line in the Super Bowl was bogus
To me, you remove ALL doubt when you do it again.
