I remember the Jim Everett trade and I was over the top excited because being that I spent my military days at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton Ohio, I was able to get to many Purdue games in Indiana and watch the Blade. After years of dealing with Jeff Kemp, Dieter Brock, Steve Dills & Steve Bartkowski, it was nice having an up coming QB and pairing him with Ernie Zampese was that much better.
