Ingram is a pretty good speed rusher, a so-so edge run defender, so-so pass defender. And, usually you have to pay him more than he's really worth (don't know what he's costing Miami). So, it's a year somewhere and then the team moves on believing they can do better.
The Rams have plenty of these guys right now. Younger. Cheaper. Still with some upside.
Unless the wheels come off one of our younger guys, the only move the Rams are likely to make is for a superior edge player... a star. Maybe, just maybe, a cheap vet that brings something they really like and use as a rotation player. Otherwise, I think they'll sit tight. Maybe not even do anything until well into the season.
