I like the kid Ridder, too. Plays sharp. Moxie.
But honestly, from my armchair none of the QB crop ought to be taken anywhere in the top 15 - 20 of the 1st round; there's just better players above them. And in a more normal year for QB, imo only Ridder deserves first round consideration, although the PItt kid will probably go first. The value and desperate need of QBs is such that I suspect 3 will be taken in the first round.
That Pitt kid is pretty accurate. But those small hands DO matter. He's never been knocked around like he's gonna be in the NFL. Holding onto that ball is going to be a real struggle. Has a chance to be OK.
Still, my crystal ball says none of these young QBs is going to ever do much in the NFL. Marginal starter or 2 but more likely some career back ups. But.... QBs can fool you. Really hard to project when you look at the history.
