I know we lost a couple of OL and probably need to add for depth, but would a draft pick even play? Boom is our LT. No doubt. Been backing up a HOF guy and played well when needed. Edwards and our center are returning and butch played well. Havs is back. So, it looks like an opening for RG. We'll, Shelton played well at OC and can play there and just got a new contract. Ancrum was excellent at Clemson and has been training there. Evans has shown ability and also had problems so who knows where he's at? We have Alaric to backup at OT. That's 9. We usually go with 9 or 10. If we are drafting at 104 for a starting ROG I get it. He goes into our top 5 and plays every snap. But, if we are looking at a #10 for future depth we might pass in the 3rd. Maybe we pick the punter who is the best at his position and who would absolutely have a starting gig.
Maybe there's a terrific edge or CB to add to our D. Maybe there's a stud TE who can line up opposite Higs. Maybe we grab a power RB or FB.
Maybe we trade out to get another vet. Who knows?
