I think the Rogers/Green Bay love affair is going to get tested

Rogers is a terrific QB. But, no QB can do it by himself.
What I think Cowherd is touching on is that if you could magically put Rogers and Stafford in the exact same situations, it could be that Stafford would come out on top.

Doesn't matter. Stafford is a Superbowl winning QB, great talent, great leader, and he's a Ram.

One has to ask, though, how exactly are the Packers going to win with a tight salary cap and 1 of the top 3 WRs in the game.... and Rogers' comfort blanket...gone. Even Valdez Scandling who presented a threat and whom Rogers seemed to trust, is gone.

Green Bay has a very good D; but not good enough to win games by themselves.

Some of the bloom may come off Rogers if the next couple of years are down years for him and GB. It will be inevitable if that happens that the talk will focus on how much cap space Rogers took up, how he sucked the oxygen out of the room for everyone else, and that this is the reason the Packers are struggling. This is also how HCs get fired.

Not a betting man; but it would be tempting to bet against GB and Rogers this year and probably next.
