Too simplistic of a question

March 25, 2022 12:26PM
Snead keeps telling us what he does if we'll only pay attention.
He wants proven stars everywhere he can find them.

We saw what a difference another star made on D with Von Miller. Would Wagner make as much difference? Perhaps. But it would be in a different way than Miller made a difference. Exactly how is up to Raheem Morris to figure out.

Wagner would give us a future HOFer on all 3 defensive levels.
Is Wagner all that he was physically 3 or 4 years ago? Probably not. Is he all that he was mentally 3 or 4 years ago? No. He's more.

But whatever physical drop off is pretty hard to detect on a football field. Looked like the same menacing dude to me.

Of course, price matters. Rams won't pay to the point that they can't build a proper roster. I don't know what that number is.

But I think without question Wagner would had a different dimension in our D in the same way Robinson is going to add a different dimension in our O. Our O is going to evolve a little this next year. And should Wagner come on board, so would our D. Sometimes it's better to change up on your own terms, rather than having an opponent figure you out.

Von Miller didn't grade in the low 70s by PFF, either
