He knows the system and the Rams don't need him right away so there is no pressure to hurry recovery. It is a perfect fit in that regard, plus the location the qb et al. However after the Woods situation I am not sure the Rams are in the market to have 3 high dollar receivers on the roster full term thus the exit of Woods. OBJ might relish the challenge and thinks after this season he can be the most valuable receiver on the roster but it is a risk competing with two potential #1 WR on the Ram's roster compared with teams that have zero potential #1 WR's on roster.
