I agree. Unless a guy is an off-the-field disaster you give a 2nd round pick the second season to see what he can become. Now I completely doubt he will do anything to contribute. But, we'll see... Give him this time to train and learn, OTAs, camp, play him a ton of preseason reps and then let's see. Maybe he is a gameday inactive and then IR'd eventually. They can cut bait with him after 2022.
