it's all Von's fault

March 19, 2022 06:15PM
Not really. However Von leaving but not until most of other high end edges are off the board left Rams feeling blue with lots of cap money so what do they do? Blow it on a WR, just like they blew our best draft pick on an useless WR last year. Which resulted in too much money on one position. I initially bore Von no ill will for taking an insane amount of money, he owed us nothing but now he cost us Bobby. The heart isn't rational. We hired a mercenary that helped us get a title but maybe helped wreck our culture. Now I am not expecting a team friendly deal from AD. He will be the highest paid defensive player (deservedly) IF he returns at all, gulp. Years from now will it have been worth it? For a title sure but whose to say we wouldn't have had the same result trading for Robert Quinn last year instead? I am in my feelings, and starting too many threads. This must be what Baker Mayfield felt like this week and boy did I ridicule him.
