I understand the Rams wanting all those comp picks, but I am not fond of limiting the players we can obtain to only those who were cut by other teams.
What if there is a really good FA and they want to play for us, do we pass because we want that late 5th round pick? Seems senseless to me, If it can be done without limiting the caliber of player then great. But I dont like limiting ourselves to hamburger when there is prime rib on the platter for a late 5th.
