I think he had some injury issues that never get discussed by him...and sometimes he doesn't have the best footwork when getting flushed and instead of setting his feet for a bomb will only partially do so - and will lose juice from that miscue. Often, guys with strong arms will tend to lean on power over form and send it downrange with arm strength only.
but make no mistake, that dude can throw it 70yds on a flat trajectory if he had to. imo
