Maybe that's not communicating much, but at Notre Dame he made some big catches plus had deceptive speed. Problem at this level has been his route running combined with stone hands. Watching him, I get the feeling he's fine catching the football when he can see it, but struggles over the shoulder & his route running is not giving him a chance to grasp the football, just like in the Super Bowl, where he cut off his route short, thus leading to one hand on the ball and the interception.
My hope is that Skowronek works on that in the offseason maybe get in Kupp's hip pocket because he's big and blocks exceptional, he also is strong on special teams, maybe he can become a red zone target with his size, but there is much work to be done, however, I still rate him above some others, but I would like to see Brandon Powell get more of a shot at WR too.
