Cole Kelly looks interesting to me. He's got the size to take the hits and film shows he's willing to stay in the pocket while the play develops. Think Roethlisberger.
I just don't like the idea of Wolford as backup any further.
A developmental QB in the late rounds or UFA would be fine with me. On the other hand: If Stafford goes down it does not matter who comes in after him be it The Wolf, Perkins or a rookie. Without Stafford the Rams very likely have no shot to run it back , maybe not even make the playoffs with a loaded NFC West unless we pull another Kurt Warner stunt.
As for the o-line: I hope the Rams resign Noteboom and Corbett plus create enough cap room to bring in a veteran o-lineman to replace Whit. Protecting Stafford should be priority Nr. 1 this offseason. We will only go as far as he takes us.
