We were doing a lot of passing during our 3 game losing streak.
It seemed to me that when McVay committed to Sony MIchel and the run it turned things around. I can't explain it - the running in the SB was brutal. But we won. And there seems to be some kind of alchemy that makes a commitment to run, even when it is really unsuccessful, that makes the rest of your game plan work better. Or at least it seems to for McVay.
I wish I could explain why it works - but isn't that what others saw this year? It seemed like we settled down and played more up to our talent when we committed to running the ball.
Don't disagree with the rest - thank goodness we had a deep WR/TE room this year or the injuries would have cost us a championship.
