Somebody mentioned Oklahoma in a reply to me mentioning the Chargers back in San Diego and it got me to thinking....Why not?? I'm assuming it's ALL about TV market?? That's a shame because I bet there are tons of fans in a lot of the "Fly Over" states who'd really be thrilled. Even if the stadiums were only 50K capacity. I know when I was stationed in Blytheville, Arkansas....just up the road from Memphis, in 1986-90, Memphis tried hard to woo the NFL. I recall them having some good crowds during the USFL years.
