That's a good question, is he the face of our franchise? Maybe for those of us who watched him play in the 80's, but it's been 35 years since he suited up for us. That's almost an entire generation who never saw him in the horns. To them he might be like Van Brocklin, Waterfield or Snow are to me: Names of past greats who I never saw play so they have no context.
Throw in the 20 year gap, and I'm not sure young Rams fans have any connection to some of the past players at all. For them the face of the team will be AD and Kupp.
