I love the Eric Weddle story, it reminds me a little of Kurt Warner's.

A retired guy who hasn't played FB for two years is playing pickup basketball. He gets a phone call, rejoins his team because, "why the hell not!?", and a month later wears a ring. What a happy ending. For some reason I'm delighted for him.

I'm also real glad for Whitworth.
