The biggest factor in the Bengals’ loss was the most obvious: They couldn’t protect Burrow. Following the touchdown to Higgins, Burrow dropped back to pass 21 times. He was sacked on six of those plays (28.6% of the time) and was under constant pressure. The Bengals had four first downs on their final five possessions (four punts and a turnover on downs).
