Was my best friend in that class. I never saw or heard from him again because we moved away on the next to last day of this year. About 9 years ago, I heard through the Grape Vine that he was killed in a one man Motorcycle Wreck, on the Main Street Bridge Expressway, just South of the St Johns River. He was a rather big guy and a TOUGH guy. He used to look out for me. Poor guy came up in a rather tough household. I STILL remember when the bell rang for the last time of 5th grade (This year)....I can still hear him singing Barry Manilow...... "Looks Like We Made It". We patted each other on the back and walked away. That was the last time I saw him.
