Heard this yesterday on one of the talk shows - when Murray runs less than 5 times, the Cards have not won a game.
He is a man of slight of stature, and the hits take a greater toll on him than, say, Josh Allen. Was he running less to protect himself for an upcoming contract?

I mean that tongue in cheek.... to a point.
Murray's game is predicated on his running. Period. He's too short and not predisposed to be a pure pocket passer.
Problem is, when he runs he gets the crap beat out of him. He's been hurt a lot in his short time in the league and I get the feeling he's tired of it. He often went down in the Wild Card game with hardly being touched.
This social media stuff may mean little or nothing. Or it could mean that he's seriously considering walking away from the game.
Might he try to get back into baseball? Might he be having some depression issues or suffering under the weight of expectations? I doubt many people could handle what an NFL QB is expected to handle.
