The conversation of course started because of Sean McVay using that awful challenge in the fourth quarter. So one of the analysts talks about how there's a correlation between good head coaches that call their own plays and poor clock management such as Kyle shanahan, Sean McVay, and Andy Reid. He basically says that play calling is such a fine art when it comes to manipulating defenses and understanding what defenses are trying to do that it's hard to do all of that and manage the clock at the same time. So he went on a tangent about how coaches like Sean McVay and the others need to really find an assistant who can take care of the clock management stuff for them.
