Did you hear his comment in the presser? He was asked about the experience of watching the D go out to defend that 3 point lead.
Matt's response: "Well, I'd rather have been out there on the field ..."
He has a thing about being on the field trying to make plays with the game on the line. He just loves it. Last week, he clearly showed that he actually preferred that to taking a knee with a lead!
I am amazed that his number of come back wins, most with a moribund Lion team, are so completely ignored.
