Our secondary is playing great the last two weeks. Weddle and Scott have stepped in to solidify a porous secondary. Is it Weddle making sure everyone is in the correct place or is it Scott being in the right place and making the best of his chance to play. What ever it is, our db's are playing tight and laying the wood when the catch is made. That extra time the opposing qb must hold the ball is allowing our D line to pressure or sack the qb. Hard to say this, but maybe Morris has been making the best calls and it was Rapp and Fuller not making The correct adjustments. However, it does not explain the sudden aggression and improved play by Williams, Long and Deayon. What ever it is, We have to feel good that the D is getting better. Now, will they be able to stop the 9ers run game.
