It IS a perfect opportunity. And it's actually the goal of any team, or at least should be. "BE THE BEST". Not "hopefully so and so is hurt for the game", or "hope the opponent is off their game"... those things are PART of the game, to be sure... but the ultimate goal is to beat the players/teams with them playing their best.
True but do you think the Bucs look at their latest Lombardi and think, you know the Chiefs didn't have their starting OT's? I don't. It shouldn't be a team's mindset but in the end just win baby. Only a team that has dominated a sport for years is only satisfied by only beating the best at their best. A team new to or rarely to the gold medal stand will take those gold medals by any means necessary.
