I was shocked that the Cowboys did well this year. I think that coach is so overrated and believe that is a lot to overcome to win in the playoffs with him.
Montana on the other hand had a Great Coach and the greatest WR in NFL history.
Brady has never played for a coach that wasn't top 2 in the league. The fact that the Patriots made the playoffs with a team that should be in the hunt for the 1st pick in the draft shows the impact of Belicheck.
I have always felt that Rodgers got dealt a bad hand, but I will agree that one of his faults is the inability to get a team up to the line of scrimmage and the play off quickly when trailing. He is a piddler and his record in come from behind wins is not that impressive.
I am tempted to put Jerry Rice as the all time #1 player. I use to say Rodgers, but his piddling is a big part of winning playoff games. You can't lead all the time and a come from behind win in one of the 3 or 4 games is important.
