their run game is from pass blocking
it's pass actions runs...draws, things like that
Their OL really does not run block anymore...they just
get in pass blocking stand, and the defenders read that
and then they run block from that, so they don't
do power blocking or pull guys that much.
I think they do that because they lost those backs,
so they hope to catch DLment in pass rush
and then run sneaky draws, and traps, and things
When you watch sometimes it's hard to tell if it is run or
pass based on the linemen. Usually you can kind of tell
one way or the other... sure they will cross you up but
based on down distance, stance, formation, etc
you think "this is a run down" and that is why play action
works
But nothing is set in concrete---when the Bucs were ahead
they did start more traditional run stuff...
So, they will run it, but they do it differently.
