Another hidden play was the first down swing pass to Akers that got called back. But it helps illustrate how much potential he has out of the backfield. There weren't many plays like that tonight but I think McVay is keeping that in his back pocket until it's really needed. Akers took that pass at the line of scrimmage, juked the defender out of his socks and easily got down the sideline for 13 yards. That's going to be huge for Stafford moving forward.
Love Sony, but those are plays he can't make.
