Keep in mind that these talk show guys operate like a barometer. They measure the general pressure from the noise in the 'public' air. Colin is responding to some of the sentiment about Stafford's playoff record, streak-ish play, etc.
At times, he will offer his personal opinion on things. In this case, I think he is just emphasizing the background against which the game tonight will be played from the Rams' perspective.
I think the Rams will win if the defense can play a reasonably good game.
