I have often been right and often wrong but I usally was always certain and had a litany of reasons why I was so confident.
It does not just come down to Stafford, Morris or our OL, DBs and DL or HC.
This season has some irregularities that confirm that several teams are candidates to win it all. The illusion of blow-out games and eikers and stupifying losses.
Our team reflects everything I just mentioned and so I can only hope for the best and all I can ask for is their best tonight.
Stafford needs to bring his experience to bare. He needs to trust his instincts and bring the poise that he has shown in his success and be fearless and confident in the system and his teamates because it is not all on him despite what he felt elsewhere he is a Ram today and he has lead this team to the playoffs and it is the best team he has ever been a part of.
Morris needs to find a way to take a system that was not his address the flaws and put thoses critical pieces in a position to win. He has been asked to do something even his predicessor has failed to due in LA and that is reproduce an elte defense without the same pieces that were with us in 2020. It is thankless and full of blame but he was brought on to try. We have made some adjustments but look its not something you can just attain without chemistry and continuity. Sacrifices were made and this is not his defense so anyone who wants to pan him is missing that fact. Morris is not a magician and like McVay he is more of an orchestrator who leads men despite the circumstances. I believe he can lead this defense to success on a weekly basis and he simply needs not to forget the talent we have because it is not all on him
McVay deserves to feel pressure but he also deserves credit for embracing it. He has been trying to erase the SB failure, The Goff Development Failure and yet there were always signs to me that he was making progress in those areas. His challenge is not to over think things. Stick to his guns and embrace the identity of the team he has built and succeeded with the way he has found success in the past. No one can take away our opportunities to succeed if he trust his system and core fundamentals. Outwitting himself or being sidetracked is no and option anymore. Strength to strength and take no prisoners. Gone is the day when a lead at Halftime was needed to give us confidence to win. You do not win by reputation and you do not remain on top by complacensy or being scared or playing not to lose. You must get your feet on your opponent and not let off.
I believe this team can win it all but I see reasons that we may not. I will cheer for our sucess tonight hoping that the team I know we have will sieze the moment.
