I thought that the main contextual goal was to win games? But in the stat world of some media writers and posters winning is nearly secondary. It's who's stats are better in scores of invented categories and even more invented rankings.
If a stat like what is discussed is so critical then why have the Cardinals completely caved the past month and a half? If what is portrayed as a significant measure of a QB is so significant, ought it not be commensurate with wins? Or at least points scored? Obviously not. It's just numbers multiplied by other numbers and then divided by still more numbers.
That stat (and rank... duh) means zip.
Further when it comes to throwing into zones, it's most always the WRs that break the zones... not the QBs. But even that doesn't necessarily equate to wins.
their defense has had a lot to do with their losses this year....they fell off big time in second half of the season...hopefully our offense takes advantage of it
