I'm watching several clips of games and so help me, I can SMELL my Nerf Football and FEEL my warm Sears Catalog Rams sweatshirt...You guys know that classic...With the blue sleeves and Rams helmet on chest , circled by LOS ANGELES RAMS. I still remember wearing my Sears Rams jersey with Rams on the chest...#30..... and watching the Mud Bowl. Even the bad times are cool memories in a way.
Great times, loved coaches that could show no emotion because through the years coaching, I could never do that. Anyway the Sears Catalog, looking for any Ram Paraphernalia, my first being a Ram Robe & Pajamas, in fact, that's the last time I remember wearing pajamas. Had a knock off jersey back then, they were really bad back then, just having the colors was the best you could do. I remember having a #67 jersey in blue & yellow and everybody would ask, who is that? I would always answer, Bill Nelson that's who and of course nobody would know, but I did. Great story Gator!
