But it's usually clear who I'm rooting against. Recent SB's have generally made that an easy choice. Ravens/49ers? Don't have any love for the Ravens but on that day, I was purple and black. Chiefs/49ers? I actually don't mind the Chiefs but it was still an easy choice that day. Tomahawk chop all the way. Chiefs/Bucs? No way was I going to root for Brady so again, easily had a team to root against. Eagles/Pats. No explanation necessary.
If I had to guess before hand though, I think this iteration of the Titans is very likable to my sensibilities. I pretty much like a lot of what they do, with the only strike against them is Vrabel's history as a Pat. But, I'm sure if McVay was given a choice or was honest, his "blood" is not as blue and gold as red and gold. But, what they've actually done for the team's they've led is pretty good.
Tannehill's frustrating but a nice reclamation story. King Henry is the modern day Dickerson. Nice to see Julio get another shot. Their other WR is good. I don't know, they just seem like a team that I like the way they do things. Even though I hated them with a passion when they were led by Fisher.
Most teams I'm pretty ambivalent about. No Bucs, Pats or 49ers. After that...the fire's pretty dim.
