This was when the Rams were in a 5-1
in the 5-1 they three DL are supposed to play gap and a half
that means they take their gap and then push into the inside gap next
to them--the point being to create and inside wall
Jourdan did a whole thing on this
they want to spill the RB to the far outside and the one LB and S and CB
come un and stop it for a short can
Now, look where A-Rob is...right next to Miller--2 guys in same spot
in gap and a half the DL does not penetrate (except Aaron Doland who
gets to freelance because he's so great)
Why is A Rob so deep? Was it called or he is HE think he is Donald
so, with that move he creates a crease and Samuel cruises to end zone
because it's off tackle and not to the outside---where the LBer and
DBs can help
