What the 9ers game told me is that the Rams can beat them if they play for 60 minutes.
Looked to me like the Rams took the 9ers best shot in the first half, and took a commanding lead anyway. Then...with their life on the line...the 9ers came out with the same urgency in the 2nd half whereas the Rams thought they had the game in hand. Complacency got the Rams. Once McVay gave them a sermon on the sideline, the Rams picked up the intensity, and got back into the game.
I don't think they will let down if they play the 9ers again.
Having said that, I don't think the Rams have shown consistency this year. But neither has anyone else. I think it's up for grabs. The odds are against the Rams, but they are against every other team, too.
