I still cannot watch NFLN or any NFL highlight shows from last week. No Sirius radio. No posting on the boards. This one hurt more than any I have felt in a long time and I am not sure why. It was worse than the week 10 embarrassment for me.
Is it from getting so pumped up when we were up by 17 points, thinking we finally were going to shut them up to have to watch them manhandle us to come back and win?
Was the embarrassment of looking like a little league team playing against the All Madden team...AGAIN?
Let's be honest, nobody wants their team to look soft and weak. It's a horrible feeling in a game that demands physicality.
What will it take to move on? A win on Monday night? That will help for sure but since we match up well against the Cards this win is almost expected although I am not sure we can beat anyone right now! lol
For me, a mere win against Az won't take the stench out of my mouth completely. Of course it would feel great if we beat Az but I think it would take us blowing them out and putting up a 50 burger on 'em to restore "some" of my confidence that we have a chance in the Playoffs.
I think I won't get over this until we actually beat those pukes once and for all. Having said that, I am not sure I could take it watching us play them again in the NFCCG. I don't have any confidence we can beat them (not sure McVay does either) but THAT would be a good start to rebuilding my faith against them!
I need to move on from this feeling! This next game will be start of my "therapy" on my road to recovery!
I know I am not the only one who feels this way. What will it take for you to move on?
