Players like Scott and Deayon belong at the bottom of the roster. Deayon wasn't drafted and Scott barely was. Deebo Samuel was bashing those guys and our linebackers too. His intent was just to run right through them if necessary.

The Rams have constructed the roster so that 4 or 5 starting caliber players on defense need to compensate for the deficiencies of 6 or 7 other players in order for it to play well.

It doesn't work so well against a team like the 49ers because of physical mismatches.
