Have Pro Sports / NCAA / Networks EVER explained how "Prime Time" games are good??

January 11, 2022 11:17AM
Of course, this crossed my mind AGAIN with ANOTHER NCAA NC game ending at MIDNIGHT! last night. It's gonna be the same B.S. next Monday for the Rams game. Yeeeah! I get the "Prime Time" advertisement $$$$$$$$$. BUUUT......Prime Time is a term that was meant for TV sitcoms and other shows that usually end at 10 PM EST or EARLIER. Prime Time is based on when the most people are watching....to see commercials FIRST and then the show.

Sporting Events??? The games go on till Midnight or later. Aside from die hards, MOST viewers have crashed 2+ hours BEFORE the game ends. NOBODY is watching the commercials that advertisers dished $$$$$$$$$$ for people to see!! People have school...People have work....Most Americans have to wake up at 5 AM or earlier! Even on the West Coast....People have to get READY for the next day of school or work. It's just a STUPID STUPID thing IMO!

NCAA Football AND Basketball NC games should be SATURDAYS at 5-6 PM EST. EVERYONE wins with that time. People are actually awake to see it. There's no school or work the next day. Grocers make $$$$ for cook out items....parties / Gatherings. Casual fans will be more prone to watch at said parties / cook outs. AAAAAND MORE people see the commercials that cost $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I'd LOVE to hear an explaination by the Networks AND the NFL / NCAA.

promomasterj90January 11, 2022 12:01PM

Do the numbers carry to the second half??

Ramgator64January 11, 2022 12:37PM
