TBH, the 49ers dominated the Rams OL in the 2nd half. Rams OL looked helpless with both pass pro and run blocking. When that happens your RB’s and QB are almost useless.

Maybe McVay could have changed things up with draws, rollouts, screens, or sweeps? Hell, maybe even had Akers throw a pass? I dunno. Couldn’t have had any worse results could it?

They can do that because they have good linebackers who can free up the DL, knowing there is a second level of defense.
Our ILB's, are quite average at best. If our DL sells out there is no guarantee they'll get any help.
